Cinco aproximaciones analíticas a “Rosa-Ni-Cienta” (Pink-A-Rella), un episodio de La Pantera Rosa

Resumen

En este trabajo analizo el cortometraje Pink-A-Rella (que puede ser traducido libremente como “Rosa-Ni-Cienta”), uno de los capítulos paradigmáticos de la serie televisiva La Pantera Rosa. Los análisis propuestos son, respectivamente: a) estructural (distinción entre la relación aparente y la relación profunda que existe entre inicio y final); b) paródico (distinción entre el relato clásico original, la parodia moderna y la metaparodia posmoderna contenidas en el corto); c) irónico (reconocimiento de los siete tipos básicos de ironía narrativa, que corresponden a las unidades narrativas del cortometraje); d) de personaje (distinción entre la ironía intraelemental y la ironía interelemental del protagonista); y e) mitológico (al reconocer la transformación del agente narrativo en su opuesto, siguiendo el modelo propuesto por Claude Lévi-Strauss en su Antropología estructural).

Five analytical approaches to Pink-A-Rella, one episode from The Pink Panther Show

Abstract

This text analyzes the short film Pink-A-Rella, one of the paradigmatic episode from the T.V. series The Pink Panther. The proposed análisis are a) structural ( distinction between the aparent relation and the deep relation that exists between begining and end); b) parodic ( distinction between relato clásico original, parodia moderna, and modern metaparodia contained in the short film); c) ironic ( recognition of the seven basic type of narrative irony, which correspond to the narrative units of the film); d) of carácter ( distinction between the protagonist´s intraelemental irony and interelemental irony), and e) mythological ( while recognizing the transformation of the narrative agent in his oposite, following the model in Claude Lévi-Strauss Structural Anthropoly).
